Cary Harrison is that multimedia commodity: a telegenic radio personality.  Known by his last name, “Harrison”, his career began when he co-conceived and produced an entertainment show for multiple cable stations.  The program, Screen Test, won several cable ACE awards and was the forerunner for what later became E! Entertainment Television.

Early in his career, he hawked wares on the Home Shopping Network, and hosted programs from ESPN to SuperStation TBS.  Whether playingpast presidents on the History Channel or voicing myriad other characters on several award winning A&E programs, Harrison's career is as varied as his interests.

Radio has taken him from top stations in Florida, Chicago, New York City and LA, including national syndication.  Harrison pioneered the “OutQ” Channel for Sirius Satellite Radio and hosted the first-ever “out” morning drive-time talk radio show (from Hollywood).  He now hosts a talk show on Public Radio’s, KPFK in Los Angeles as well as "Think Green" --a star-studded syndicated daily news feature promoting a Greener planet—while equally appearing regularly on the syndicated talk shows, “Mancow” and “The Curtis Sliwa Show.

Millions have enjoyed his unique brand of news, commentary and satire, earning him Vanderbilt University's distinguished Siegenthaler Award for integrity, intelligence and courage in the field of journalism, the Sigma Delta Chi award—the highest honor bestowed for public service by the Society of Professional Journalists, and top honors—two years' running—from American Women in Radio & Television for exposé reporting and investigative journalism. Harrison’s been acknowledged by the Board of Governors of the Achievement in Radio Awards, was nominated “Best New Talent in Chicago”, has received 1st place honors for “Best Commentary” from the Associated Press, and was recently honored by the UN, followed by the Mayor and City Council of West Hollywood/Los Angeles for his Environmental and Peace work.
